And yes I'm late with my recipes for the holiday season,
but better late than never lollll.
These cookies are too good to pass up and it's not forbidden to do so in another time for the holiday season

Biscuits settled at butter-flavored fruitcake

*** 1 cup butter
softened 1 cup powdered sugar
1 / 2 cup sugar 1 egg

2 tablespoons tsp vanilla extract 2-1/4 cups flour

1 / 2 c. teaspoon baking soda (soda)
1 / 2 cup raisins
1 / 2 cup each red and green cherries

In a large bowl, combine butter and both sugars until light and fluffy .
Add egg and vanilla.
Mix flour and baking soda, gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in fruit.
Shape dough into two 2-in-logs, wrap each in a plastic wrap.
Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
Slice logs into 1/4-inch thick.
Keep 2 inches apart on ungreased sheet on
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Remove to wire racks to cool.

Yield: 5 dozen.
P / S can add pecans or walnuts (to taste)
