I found this recipe on the blog Vivian and I can guarantee I'll make this rice a few times, it is so good, you can put vegetables you want.
When the rice is allowed to rest after cooking to render your rice better, more tender, more flavorful.
3-4 servings depending on appetite.
1 cup rice to parboiled
2 cups chicken broth
3-4 sliced mushrooms
1 / 2 yellow pepper, halved and sliced
1 / 2 orange peppers, halved and sliced 1
c.soupe balsamic vinegar salt and pepper
2 c.soupe about oil
* In a saucepan heat the oil over medium-high heat.
* Add vegetables, salt and pepper and cook until the bottom of the pan begins to brown and vegetables are softened.
* Deglaze with balsamic vinegar and mix.
* Add rice and mix well.
* Add broth and stir.
* Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer 22 minutes.
* Turn off heat, leave covered on the stove for 5 minutes before serving.
