Yield: 250 ml (1 cup)
Ingredients
Spread caramel
• 180 ml (3 / 4 cup) water
• 180 ml (3 / 4 cup ) sugar
• 1 package of 250 g cream cheese, at room temperature
Preparation

In a small saucepan, bring water and sugar to a boil. Cook over high heat, uncovered about 12 minutes or until mixture begins to brown. Remove pan from heat and let stand for 1 minute. Gradually add the cream cheese with a whisk. Whisk until cheese is melted and smooth; back on the fire still warm if necessary. Pour into a ramekin. Refrigerate.
